Mental Health Services

Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA)

A Comprehensive Clinical Assessment is the entry point for mental health and substance use services. A licensed clinician conducts a thorough, face-to-face evaluation to identify medically necessary, least restrictive, and evidence-based treatment recommendations for each individual.

Outpatient Therapy Services (OPT)

Licensed clinicians provide individual, group, and family therapy. Services are typically delivered once per week and may take place in the home, office, or community.

School-Based Therapy Services

School-based services support students whose emotional or behavioral needs adversely affect their academic performance. The agency partners with two counties in North Carolina to provide these services.

Day Treatment

Day treatment serves children and adolescents who are not succeeding in a regular school setting because of behavioral or emotional difficulties. The program combines individualized education with therapeutic treatment.

Intensive In-Home Services (IIH)

Intensive In-Home Services provide a time-limited, family-focused intervention for youth ages 3 through 20. Treatment generally lasts six months or less and is intended to stabilize the current living arrangement, promote reunification, or prevent placement in settings such as psychiatric hospitals, therapeutic foster care, or residential treatment facilities.

Residential Level III

Treatment is delivered in a structured residential setting where staff are available at all times, including awake overnight coverage. The program maintains a minimum staffing ratio of one staff member for every four residents.

Services are individualized and intensive. The structure of daily living is designed to reduce behaviors related to functional difficulties, support safety, provide frequent crisis management when needed, and help each adolescent maintain an optimal level of functioning.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)

Psychosocial Rehabilitation helps individuals manage mental illness and restore functioning across major areas of life. The program offers educational, social, and psychotherapeutic experiences intended to strengthen coping skills and develop vocational abilities.
